Hello everyone<\/p>\n

It was marvellous to have such a good attendance at TWIN\u2019s meeting last week \u2013 thank you all for coming, participating and making the event an undoubted success. \u00a0It’s hugely encouraging to have such strong support in the prevailing climate.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m particularly grateful to those of you who completed the feedback forms – the overwhelming response was very positive.<\/p>\n

I look forward to seeing you all again soon.<\/p>\n

A few of the aspects of the meeting members and guests enjoyed most\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/strong>Staying Over and having the time to network. The coping with stress talk was brilliant \u2013 Garbiela Lozana, Lloyds TSB<\/p>\n

Interesting talks from variety of speakers \u2013 real life, not too technical! Getting to meet new people, all very passionate about what they do \u2013 Susie Thomas, Scottish Provident<\/p>\n

The usual lively debates \u2013 Cathy Toomey, Kiln<\/p>\n

Most enjoyable insurance conference I\u2019ve attended! \u2013 Susie Thomas, Scottish Provident<\/p>\n

Bill Mitchell\u2019s presentations on \u201ccoping with stress in the workplace\u201d. Longevity presentation too \u2013 Lorna Wiltshire, Friends Provident<\/p>\n

Bill Mitchell\u2019s talk was very interesting, as was FSCS \u2013 in fact all very interesting \u2013 Louise Okenden, Swiss Re<\/p>\n

Networking. New Info-Compensation Scheme. Coping with Stress \u2013 Kirsty Gray, Watson Wyatt<\/p>\n

Off Piste topic. Networking \u2013 Sue Williams, Lucida<\/p>\n

Bill Mitchell\u2019s session was very well structured and interactive \u2013 one of the best presentations I have seen on the subject of stress \u2013 Stav O\u2019Doherty, Perfect Health<\/p>\n

Networking. Informed atmosphere. Dr. Bill\u2019s session \u2013 Jenny Coletta, Ernst & Young<\/p>\n

Networking. Usual interesting & diverse agenda with intelligent female perspective \u2013 TWIN\u2019s unique selling proposition \u2013 Melanie Worthy, Worthy Communications<\/p>\n

Range of speakers. After dinner speaker \u2013 Catherine Brewer, Reynolds, Porter Chamberlain<\/p>\n

Networking, very interesting speakers \u2013 Trevor Matthews, Nick Dumbrek, Kate Angell & Bill Mitchell \u2013 Diana Honey, Lloyds TSB<\/p>\n

The two off-piste items were the most interesting for me –\u00a0 I was very interested in Kate\u2019s session about Grant Thornton\u2019s programme \u2013 we used to do something similar both at Prudential and at Deloitte but don\u2019t at my current employment.\u00a0\u00a0 \u2013 Sue Williams, Lucida<\/p>\n

Most useful. Stimulating \u2013 Noreen Siba, ILC-UK<\/p>\n

Bill Mitchell\u2019s presentation was excellent. Trevor Matthews excellent presentation \u2013 Marion Madden, Kiln<\/p>\n

Nick Dumbrek\u2019s session was a good overview of the subject of credit crunch, (which received extensive media coverage). Sophie & Kari\u2019s session was informative and touched on a subject that will be of increasing significance in years to come. \u2013 Stav O\u2019Doherty, Perfect Health<\/p>\n

The other one that was most interesting was about coping with stress in and outside of the workplace.\u00a0 \u00a0For interest, a couple of positive outcomes as a result of these two sessions \u00a0\u00a0– one I made time for my shoe shopping and also went swimming on Saturday for the first time in a few months.\u00a0 The second is that I have gone onto Kiva and sponsored two women.\u00a0 \u2013 Sue Williams, Lucida<\/p>\n
