Rest in Peace Malcolm

The-Women’s-Insurance-Net-Work was stunned at the sad news of Malcolm Small’s sudden death in February 2018. Malcolm was the co-founder  of TWIN. He was also the founder of The-Pensions-Net-Work and The Investment Network. A tribute to Malcolm, held at the IoD, Pall Mall on the 16th May, was well attended.  Malcolm will be sorely missed by those who knew him best.

Rest in Peace Malcolm.

Happy Birthday to TWIN

TWIN’s first meeting was held at Pendly Manor, Tring on the 27th & 28th September 2007. Since then we’ve had over 43 meetings/events with over 200 speakers. Our 10th Anniversary meeting, held at the same venue on the 21st & 22nd September 2017 was an awesome meeting with great speakers and delegates. Because it’s our 10th birthday I’d like to say a very special thanks to the companies who have sponsored us over the years especially our current sponsors; Allianz, Flood Re, Lloyd’s and RPC – we couldn’t do this without your support. Many thanks also go to all the fabulous speakers we’ve had since we started, whose presentations interest, inform, educate, inspire and stimilate us. Our members ARE TWIN, they contribute during the discussions at every meeting and the wonderful feedback received highlights why TWIN exists. It’s lovely to see so many regular attendees and it’s great to see new people still coming to our meetings and finding what we do so useful to them. Networking continues to be listed as the main benefit of attending a TWIN meeting. A huge thank you to everyone who’s helped make TWIN such an enjoyable, interesting and successful organisation particularly TWIN’s co-founder and past Chairman (Sep 2007-May 2016), Helen Crofts.

Here’s to the next decade!
